Jay Greene joined Community Housing Solutions (CHS) in 2025, bringing more than 40 years of leadership in affordable housing, public finance, and community development. Throughout his career, Jay has guided large-scale housing initiatives across the Mid-Atlantic region, building high-impact partnerships and expanding access to safe, equitable, and permanently affordable homes. Jay works closely with the Board and leadership team to advance CHS’s mission, ensuring the long-term success of current programs while strategically positioning the organization for future growth. His deep experience in acquisition, preservation, and development of affordable housing is already opening new opportunities in emerging economic markets, strengthening CHS’s role as a trusted community partner. Prior to joining CHS, Jay held senior leadership roles in both the public and nonprofit sectors, including: Division Chief, Montgomery County Department of Housing & Community Affairs Chief Operating Officer, Baltimore City Department of Housing Director, Prince George’s County Department of Housing & Community Development Director, Department of Housing & Community Development, Washington, DC Vice President & Regional Director for one of the nation’s largest nonprofit affordable housing developers Jay’s work spans the full spectrum of affordable housing and community investment—policy, finance, redevelopment, resident services, and long-term asset stewardship. His leadership has directly supported thousands of units of affordable housing and strengthened community infrastructure across multiple jurisdictions. Jay holds a B.A. in Economics from The City College of New York, an M.A. in Urban and Regional Planning from Pratt Institute, and an MBA in Finance from Pace University.

Barbara serves as the chair of the Affordable Housing Conference of Montgomery County and is a recognized leader in housing policy and community development. She is dedicated to advancing innovative solutions that promote affordable housing and strengthen communities.

Jim brings over 34 years of experience in urban development and project finance, with a focus on affordable and mixed-income housing. As the former assistant commissioner for Baltimore’s Housing & Community Development, he has demonstrated exceptional leadership in advancing impactful housing initiatives and fostering community growth.

Steve brings over 40 years of expertise in business law, real estate transactions, and corporate governance. He has held prominent leadership roles, including COO, CFO, and general counsel, demonstrating exceptional skill in navigating complex legal and business landscapes.

Timnah brings over 15 years of experience in marketing and leasing, with specialized expertise in real estate branding and driving market growth. She has a proven track record of achieving successful lease-ups and fostering meaningful community engagement.

Aaron has managed over $1 billion in real estate transactions, showcasing expertise in investment, management, and affordable housing. His work is centered on advancing impactful projects across Maryland, DC, and Virginia.

Sam is the CEO of a leading health benefits provider, bringing expertise in business growth and financial strategy. He has extensive experience advising startups and industry leaders, driving innovation and success across the sector.
